CPsquare's our original vision of a resource base

The resource base is an evolving online interactive repository that includes a set of knowledge objects such as community-development tools, a collection of cases and stories, reviews of community support technologies. Each knowledge object can be commented upon and discussed by community members.

Description

• Member produced, edited, vetted and managed collection
  
• Members will form an editorial committee responsible for editing and moderating both content and related discussion
  
• Community members contribute content and discussion items

Design principles

• Contents available to the whole community
  
• Community rigor: the whole community inspects, uses, and critiques artifacts
  
• Contents considered world-class in the field
  
• Aspiration to serve as a model for community repository

Connection with CPsquare activities

• All CPsquare activities generate content for the knowledge base
  
• Practice groups collect their learning in their section
  
• Projects archive their output
  
• Conference materials and events notes are preserved
  
• Classes use and contribute material
  
• Continual updating through online conversations, feedback from use, and discussion at events

In actual practice our production and publication process has been slower and less formal but not unproductive. See our Resource Base page.
